Another season gone with the wind!

The Craigtoun Seasonal Attractions were scheduled to run for the last time this year on Sunday 25th October but heavy rainfall followed by high winds and severe weather warnings curtailed them a few days earlier than anticipated.

Despite a disappointing finish, the 2026 season as a whole was a very good one for the park with the great weather over the summer and the much-anticipated return of the boats both having a positive impact on sales in the Ticket Office. Ticket sales are the park's only guaranteed income and, with the attractions only running between Easter and October, every sale counts. With that in mind, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported the Friends of Craigtoun this year by purchasing Annual Passes and day tickets to use the attractions.

The boats and the go-karts will all be removed to the yard this week and the golf and tennis equipment will be locked away until the spring. One attraction that never fully hibernates, however, is Puffin' Billy, which will be used to carry Halloween revellers around a dark and spooky Craigtoun on Saturday evening. Puffin' Billy will also make an appearance in December providing free festive tractor rides around the park on our Santa's Grotto days.
