Volunteering

BNP Paribas Volunteer Day

Last week we were fortunate to have a group of volunteers from BNP Paribas in the park and they did a great job of painting the fence around the rail track and chipping the recently cleared seating area behind the Lodge. There are always opportunities for corporate volunteers to do all sorts of things at Craigtoun. If you work for an organisation that facilitates volunteering, please ask them to consider sending a group to help the Friends of Craigtoun out with all the jobs that need doing around the park! It's easy to organise just by e-mailing us on: enquiries@friendsofcraigtoun.org.uk

Eric's Story

Several years ago, I was advised to attend an NHS sponsored fitness class in Cupar as I had health problems and it was there that I met Tom, a volunteer at Craigtoun Country Park, and Kyff Roberts, who was the Chairman of the Friends of Craigtoun Country Park.  I live just five minutes away from the Park in Strathkinness but had not visited the place in over 30 years.

Peggy's Story
