Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to run the boats from the start of the 2026 season as planned due to circumstances outwith our control. We are very much hoping to have the pond filled and opened for boating for the main summer season starting in July.
The boating lake at Craigtoun is hugely popular and we have a total of 15 boats available, from 2-seater pedalos to 6-seater rowing boats. You need to buy your tickets from the Ticket Office before queuing up at the quayside for your vessel of choice and you will require 1 ticket for each person in your party. Your ticket will entitle you to 15 minutes on the boating lake – enough time to go round it twice, depending on how proficient your crew is! Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and everyone is required to put on a buoyancy aid.
