This June, we will once again be hosting self-guided tours of our Plant Heritage National Collection of Iris sibirica with the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. These tours are free of charge and will operate between 10 am and 3 pm on the following dates:
Please assemble at the entrance to the Walled Garden (look for the National Iris Display Beds on our park map), where you will be met by a member of the Craigtoun Gardening Group.
RHS and AGM Irises will be available to purchase, as well as other perennial plants cultivated by the group.
These tours will be taking place in National Volunteer Week - what better time to sign up to become a Craigtoun Volunteer?! The Craigtoun Gardening Group is made up entirely of volunteers and they are always looking for new members so you will be able to pick up a Volunteer Registration Form on the day if you are interested in joining them.
