Phyllis initiated Studio Gallery in Newport on Tay, though now works from studio spaces at home. She is a member of Visual Arts Scotland and a-n, and has exhibited in the Bonar Hall, Fine Art Library Edinburgh and The Meffan amongst others.
Much time as a child was spent in Craigtoun Park and it holds a special place in Phyllis' heart. Good fun days out not only fuelled the imagination, but also initiated an interest in plants, landscape and the outdoor environment.
The hard work of the Friends of Craigtoun volunteers has allowed the pleasure of Craigtoun to be passed on to yet another generation and inspired Phyllis to approach those involved, with the proposition of a new Fife Art Event where individual artists and groups, could have the opportunity to provide workshops and showcase their craft, promoting the benefits of Art in the Park to the public, all in one fun-filled, stunning location.
